..Was finishing her master studies (International Relations and Diplomacy) when she met Eric in the middle of Nowy Åšwiat street in Warsaw while celebrating EURO cup in 2012.
She has her own blog website RethinkingLatitudes where she analyses international affairs in complex context. Always interested in the history of unrecognized nations, she is deeply involved in the Basque society.
Attending all the Basque feasts possible - from cider parties to rowing competitions. Ulka's love for Basque history and culture has grown during years to reach the climax reflected in the NON EDO NON project.

This talented illustrator and creative ¨Krazy Kat¨, dedicates his life to design his own brand ''katooak'', to tatoo people, to participate in stand up shows, to celebrate Basque feasts, to travel and to spread Basque history wherever he goes.
Has missed San Fermin party only once - while travelling on a train from Russia to China in a self-financed hitch-hiking trip ''no planes no plans'' Basque Country - Shanghai without a single plane.
During that trip he found his partner for this adventure...
What is the Basque Nation?
Unfortunately most of the people could not find the answer.
A lot of them would associate the term ''basque'' with terrorist attacks that took place on the Spanish territory in the second half of the 20th century. This is only the top of the iceberg...
The oldest genome in Europe speaking the language that escapes all phonological logic, the best mercenaries in Roman armies, the most extraordinary whale hunters - rowing side by side with Vikings, the most valued shepherds, the best trade pioneers, the most ambitious explorers in the Americas and the most skilful sailors among whom we can find the first man to circumnavigate the world.
They were Basques and we want to pay the tribute to them.
